|
|
He's gone. Need I say more? The state of mind is unwell. The state of heart is inconsolable.
These are the photos when he was still around. *sigh*
I never thought it is going to be THIS complicated.
Anyway, let's not dwell on it. Period.

Photoshoot at The Moonlight Beach (PCB daaa...)
|
|
Before going out to PCB, aunties and cousins came to the house for an indoor photoshoot. All the gifts from me to him were displayed on the table (since grandma hadn't seen them yet).
The wedding cake...deliciously decorated!
The start of a photoshoot..but we were shy-shy one! Trust me, there were lots of people at the beach. I just couldnt do it man! It took ages before we finally get comfortable posing in front of other people....
He tried to lift me up, unfortunately I was too heavy for him! Anyway he blamed the t-shirt that I put on, saying that the material makes it a bit slippery and so he couldnt lift me up properly. Ya ya ya! Of course, I did not believe him. Now that I have lived with him for like...a month...I have to acknowledge that he is capable in demonstrating the act of weight-lifting!
Walking on the beach...
Foot prints in the sand of time...
The art director wanted us to cuddle up and be cheeky...and here is the photo of us not knowing how to portray that kind of image..
Anyway, this is our best shot...according to the photographer!
I guess, everybody visiting this page is 100 percent sure now, that I just love doing the jumping pose. But this is NOTHING, really.
This is what I call, SOMETHING. He had me on his back, while jumping high, aiming to touch the sky!
Wise man said: it is the journey that matters, not the destination. And so the journey begins...

Ceremony in Kelantan
|
|
I had a panic attack when the woman who was supposed to make me up for that day arrived half an hour late. But, I managed to get dressed up on time. To be honest, I did not really fancy the way she applied colors to my face. Anyway, what is done is done...The most important thing is any bride should feel beautiful on her special day (yes darling...even though the make-up is horrendous, put a bright smile and walk with confidence, if not GRACEFUL!!)
In Kedah, it was Nora, stealing the limelight...and all cameras started to focus on the famous singer instead of me . In Kelantan, it was Catriona!!!
With Faiz's auntie, his mum and grandmother.
With Kak Manis, his cousin.
With my dear sisters..
My grandma giving me a hug and a big kiss.
A family portrait in front of his house..

Outdoor photoshoot
|
|
At about 5 in the evening (on the same day), Arep, Faiz and me went out to have an outdoor photoshoot. The shoot was awesome, but I think if we could possibly do it another day, the photos would turn out much better; we could get the rest we needed and maybe sweet silly crazy ideas would come up. Nevertheless, that evening was fun but hectic. We had to do the shoot as quickly as possible, because we had to send his aunty off to KL. So,here are some of the shots!
1. Ready to go out...
2. Ops.....strike a pose, please!
3. At the edge of Taman Rimba...
4. The Al-Bukhary complex...
5. Oh yeah...we are married!!!
6. What are you looking at?
7. Ok...sit still!
8. Supposed to be a heart-melting pose, but naaahh....we were very stiff!
9. Arep suggested we talk about the future that lays ahead.
10. And so, we tried our best to talk...but I think we mumbled most and what came out from our mouths sounded so iiiiyyyyyuuueeeeee!!!
11. Despite all the effort of trying to be mushy-mushy but turned out so yucky-yucky, we had a good laugh. The whole episode is definitely a walk to remember...

The Food Fiesta...
|
|
Right after the ceremony at the mosque, we had to rush back home and get ready for the kenduri. I called it the food fiesta. We (as in the caterer) prepared dishes for 1000 people.
1. Welcome to the party everybody!!!
2. My sisters were busy running back and forth, giving out bunga telur and bag of gifts to the guests. My mum and dad were out of breath, entertaining relatives and friends...
3. I, on the other hand was having a jolly good time in the room, meeting with friends and taking lots of photos..My two besties; Fida and Arina.
4. Nizam, Arina and Yati (Remy was missing in action)
5. My dear sisters; Alida and Wani...
6. With Kak Ngah; another sister of mine...Since I am already married, the focus of everyone's attention has shifted to her. Pressure, pressure, pressure!
7. With little cousins...
8. A group photo with Sis Eka Fahara, Dhiya Zafira and their beloved relatives...
9. Faiz finally arrived with his family and relatives...
10. I had to come out, greet him and enter the house together. To be honest, I was not sure how to walk gracefully when all eyes were on Faiz and me. I didn't know where to place my hands..I didn't have anything to hold (I should have thought about that)..like a bouquet of flowers or something so that my hands were occupied.. I was thinking of holding his hands, but I wasn't too sure. As a result, I felt AWKWARD and SILLY.
11. We had a quick photoshoot in the room; that is a photo of me without my wedding ring...
12. His mum slid the beautiful wedding ring on my finger...
13. I'll make sure it rests there forever...
14. And this is my token of love to him...
15. To be honest, it was really hard to pose as naturally romantic as possible when there were lots of cameras and instructions coming from different directions...
16. However, I think we did our best....Smile!
17. Next, we headed down to the main table and had our lunch, together with the guests. The food was yummylicious, but unfortunately I couldn't eat as much as I want. My sister, Zati helped me out with the chicken and another one was busy taking pictures...
18. Oh, look who's coming?
19. I dont know what else to say...
20. So basically, that's it!! We finished our lunch at about 4 pm, and went inside to take half-an-hour rest. My legs ached (because of the heels) and Faiz's head wanted to explode because of the tanjak on his head. He said it was heavy! However, the food fiesta was still going on with lots of people still keep coming in.

The journey begins...
|
|
Arep (a dear friend + a photographer) came at about 8 in the morning when I had just finished my breakfast and was about to start putting colors on my face. I prayed hard that the pimples could be hidden underneath that Maybelline concealer. Special thanks to Fida; she took care of my scarf, and demonstrated her mak andam skills.
For the purpose of making it simple and not too fussy, I chose to apply the make-up myself. I believe I looked nice and presentable, if not gorgeous....
So, here are the pictures of the ceremony held in Masjid Taman Muhibbah, which marked the start of a wonderful journey as Faiz's wife.
1. Relatives and close friends arrived early in the morning to help with the preparation...
2. Anxiously waiting for the clock to strike at 10...
3. My lovely dad; looking like a politician...
4. Me and my sisters (in gold-coloured baju kurung) and little cousins..
5. Me and Fida; arriving at the mosque (Masjid Taman Muhibbah)
6. A very nice old man greeted us; cracking jokes and even taking out his digital camera to take photos with me and dad after I had signed the marriage documents...
7. Faiz was so nervous that day; he didn't even finish up his favorite breakfast (roti canai). He knew that he's gonna be tortured with questions from Tok Imam. I, on the other hand, had a generous amount of rice with curry and chicken....What, I had nothing to be afraid ma...*wicked grin*
8. The clucthing hands; dad entrusted me to Faiz...
9. And as a wife I pay the highest respect to my husband...
10. With my mother-in-law...
11. A quick chat with my bestie...
12. Family portrait; the only person missing is my mum. She had to stay home and take care of everything and everyone there...
13. After the ceremony, I went home looking for my mum...
14. A big hug with tears streaming down our faces...
15. That's the end of the story....P/s: I still find it hard to believe that I'm already married.........*wink*

Singstar Competition
|
|
These are the songs that I had to sing:
1. Wanna Be (Spice Girls)
2. Love Is All Around (Wet Wet Wet)
3. Love's Fool (The Cardigans)
And the last song that I had to sing was tough (at least for me). Really not my kinda music. Check out the lyrics:
I got my head checked
By a jumbo jet
It wasn't easy
But nothing is, no
When I feel heavy metal
And I'm pins and I'm needles
Well I lie and I'm easy
All of the time but I'm never sure when I need you
Pleased to meet you
I got my head done
When I was young
It's not my problem
It's not my problem
When I feel heavy metal
And I'm pins and I'm needles
Well I lie and I'm easy
All of the time but I'm never sure when I need you
Pleased to meet you
